On Saturday, Oct 4th at 8PM Eastern Standard Time, fhko will be hosting a fightnite. All players, new and veteran alike, are highly encouraged to attend. Whether you're a blood thirsty pirate looking for some battle or just someone who likes the sounds of coins in your pocket, this fightnite is for you!
A series of four different events are scheduled. The first being a huge race on Zoric! From there things take to the night sky as you use cunning and (space)craft to prove why you and some of your fellow players are a force to be reckoned with by competing in three space events.

Bug-fix patch

I've just uploaded v0.51.8 of the client and world server. Theres nothing new feature-wise in this release, but it does fix a couple of very nasty bugs in the peer-to-peer connection code, which had various unpleasant effects on the stability of the game. Details are on the bug-reports forum if you're interested..

New wildlife model

After the roaring success of his crow skin, Jayecifer has designed a new "monster" model (for use as wildlife or whatever) which was turned into 3d by me, and then skinned in a couple of really nice ways by Jaye himself. Check it out on the model library here.
